About

Lead Adviser Jeffrey Schmedeke has been working in economic development and in business intelligence for over twenty years. As one of the first policy advisers at the Illinois World Trade Center at Chicago in the early 1990s, Mr. Schmedeke was part of a visionary team at the forefront of the first wave of globalized markets. As an analyst with the Illinois Export Council, Mr. Schmedeke was responsible for building networks of stakeholders to develop export markets for small and medium sized businesses in Illinois. He was also responsible for pushing education policies at the state level to “internationalize” the curriculum of Illinois schools. Mr. Schmedeke has consulted and worked as project manager for large scale US Federal Government contracts, business intelligence services and public-private initiatives to create economic opportunities for clients.
